My Week in 7 Photos 17.4.16
Well it sure has been a while! I haven’t posted a weekly photo blog since 2013 when I used to post this religiously every week.
Going to try to post this every sunday.
All photos snapped on my iPhone.

Race photos from last week’s Canberra Marathon arrived. This is what a person looks like when they are concentrating hard on how they’d like to be killed at the 32km mark. I was hoping for an earthquake to end my misery. But then I got to the finish line and decided I apparently love hurting myself by running abnormal distances so I’ll be back for more marathon pain later in the year.

It’s not often my kids get to come along and cheer me on thanks to my penchant for overseas marathons so it was so awesome to plant a big fat sweaty kiss on each of them along the course route.

My race day nutrition had a swift death about 0.5 hours after I crossed the finish line. Mmmmmmm …. pie (it has a bit of carrot, therefore diet food. Obvs)

After Canberra we took the kids to the Snowy Mountains for a few days. It was freezing and I felt like I was in the Lakes District of England. Beautiful.

A day and a bit after the marathon I decided it would be an excellent idea to drag my 12 & 6 year olds 13km up Australia’s highest peak. Obviously I took my medal with me.
